Aramco signed 145 agreements and Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) valued at about $9 billion at the iktva Forum & Exhibition 2025.
More than 100,000 people are attending Aramco’s largest annual supply chain gathering near the company’s Dhahran headquarters in Saudi Arabia.
Many companies made the trip from Europe as the iktva program celebrates its largest event yet, with 250 exhibitors and 400 speakers in attendance.
Aramco Europe President & CEO Mazin Dabbagh, said:
“The impact that iktva has had in building national capacity has already been profound. Not only has the program advanced broader economic diversification efforts, it has also proven its worth in ensuring the resilience and reliability of our supply chain when tested by numerous real world challenges since its inception a decade ago.”
Khalid Alassaf, Aramco Europe Vice President Procurement & Supply Chain Management, said:
“I am delighted to have seen first-hand the incredible growth of the iktva program and the positive impact it has had in building national capacity. It is especially encouraging to see so many European suppliers with whom we work closely, actively participating in the program.”
Originally launched in 2015 to develop a robust local supply chain and strengthen national capacity, iktva has advanced economic diversification in the Kingdom and is estimated to have contributed $240 billion to the national economy with some 199,000 direct and indirect jobs created.
The program has also helped to establish 16 national training centers spread across 10 cities, from which 70,000 Saudi nationals have graduated.
