Aramco Europe today celebrates International Day of Education 2025, which this year is dedicated to the role, opportunities and challenges of artificial intelligence (AI) in the classroom.
Advancing technological education has become a cornerstone of Aramco Europe’s citizenship program, with its focus on both the teaching and learning of science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM).
Most recently the company helped Italy’s Fondazione Politecnico di Milano establish new laboratories in three technical schools, including one in Naples which focuses on the integration of intelligent digital technologies in the manufacturing process.
In Poland, the company works with Fahrenheit Union of Universities in Gdańsk to support knowledge exchange between industry specialists and aspiring innovators.
Aramco Europe has also supported several STEM-focused initiatives in the UK, including an innovative partnership with the University of Manchester, to upskill serving teachers working at primary and lower secondary level. Another collaboration with STEM Learning is growing the skills of teachers in 83 London schools, with the aim of making lessons more engaging, informative and entertaining.
