Managing our footprint
Aramco’s greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions management program accounts for the direct (Scope 1) and indirect (Scope 2) emissions from wholly owned and operated assets.
Saudi Aramco's reporting is consistent with the Greenhouse Gas Protocol guidelines, and is based on the World Resources Institute (WRI) and World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD) GHG Protocol guidelines.
Moreover, we are engaged in advanced research and development programs to reduce emissions in our upstream, refinery and chemicals operations, and end-use applications.
