Located at IFP Energies nouvelles (IFPen) a leading public-sector research, innovation, and training institute — Aramco's Fuel Research Center concentrates on energy, transport, and the environment.

Thanks to this strategic placement, we can capitalize on IFPen’s facilities and links to various European automakers to accelerate the innovation cycle of different fuel technologies.

Collaboration and technology go hand-in-hand in Paris, while working on technologies such as Octane-on-Demand. Since opening in 2013, projects with IFPen have worked towards improving fuel efficiency and reducing emissions. IFPen, a leader in its field, also receives Aramco-sponsored students who experience its strong background in engine fuel matching, and for its part, Aramco brings knowledge of fuel production and industrial networks.
