Aramco supports young talents in Poland

News|WARSAW, Poland|

To support talented young people and encourage them to pursue innovative scientific projects, Aramco has partnered with the High Tech Foundation (HTF). The foundation has been supporting entrepreneurship, development of cutting-edge technologies and promoting science in Poland for more than a decade.

Understanding the challenges of today's market, Aramco together with HTF, have created a new initiative - Talent Open, a hybrid start-up acceleration program aimed at supporting projects created by young Polish scientists, inventors and technology enthusiasts under the age of 25.

The program, in line with Aramco's corporate citizenship strategy, will be a platform for young scientists to interact with the business world and an opportunity for them to acquire new competencies. The initiative is another Aramco project related to the promotion of STEM education (STEM: Science Technology Engineering Maths) among Polish youth.

“We discover and support young talents together with business, local authorities and the media. We rely on long-term partnerships, built and developed together. As part of the cooperation between Aramco and the High Tech Foundation, we will facilitate young people’s transformation of their STEM projects into working business or social ventures. We are pleased that Aramco has become involved in the foundation's activities and, together with us, will be championing young talents,” says Władysław P. Halbersztadt, Founder and President of the High Tech Foundation.

Over the past few years, the foundation's programs have attracted more than 30,000 participants and mentored many young scientists, making them a valuable partner for Aramco in promoting STEM.

“The partnership with the High Tech Foundation is another strategic corporate citizenship initiative of Aramco in Poland, in support of the wider society. Our cooperation within the Talent Open program and the exchange of experience will enable us to create new perspectives for talented young scientists, whose potential is impressive,” says Ahmed Alkhunaini, President & CEO of Aramco Europe.
