Aramco Europe supports communities in more ways than one

News|

Aramco Europe has developed a citizenship program for 2025 that is primarily focused on the company’s main European markets. The program builds on 2024 efforts and continues a proud legacy of community outreach, which can be traced back to our founding.

Through its citizenship program, the company supports 12 different initiatives across the region. These initiatives reflect Aramco’s long-standing commitment to creating a positive impact in the communities where we operate.

President & CEO of Aramco Europe, Mazin Dabbagh, said: “Through our community initiatives in Europe, we aim to support economic growth, skills development, and targeted environmental protection initiatives aligned with local needs to accelerate sustainable economic development.”

“By giving back to the communities where we live and work, we uphold our corporate values and ensure we continue to positively impact society as a reliable partner in progress.”

Powering global progress, locally

Our community support approach is focused on addressing the needs of each market. Recognizing that every community is unique, Aramco Europe aims to support development globally while bridging regional gaps.

As part of our ongoing efforts over the years, our projects in the United Kingdom maintain an educational focus, supporting the teaching and learning of Science, Engineering, Technology and Maths (STEM). Aramco views STEM education as vital for preparing the next generation for the challenges of the future, driving innovation, and supporting economic diversification and technological advancement.

In the Netherlands, home to Aramco Europe’s headquarters, we are advancing the circular economy through innovation across agriculture and transportation systems while also addressing local needs in economically disadvantaged communities. This social focus extends to our citizenship programs in southern Italy, which aim to promote and encourage technical training while forging links between schools and businesses.

Meanwhile, our citizenship program in Poland, Aramco’s most recent European market, is in its early stages, with initial projects focused on health and educational sectors.

Through these efforts, we aim to power societal progress, locally.
