Aramco Europe supports STEM learning through Fahrenheit Science Picnic partnership

News|Gdansk, Poland|

This year’s Fahrenheit Science Picnic welcomed nearly 6,000 visitors to Gdańsk for a day of hands-on experiments, workshops and STEM-focused activities.

The Picnic is an initiative of the Fahrenheit Universities and Hevelianum that promotes science-based learning for adults and young people alike. Now in its fifth year, the event transforms Gradowa Hill in Gdańsk into an interactive science playground.

More than 70 themed tents formed a vibrant Science Village packed with experiments, workshops, games and competitions. Visitors explored activities spanning biology, chemistry, physics, robotics, health and nutrition. The main stage hosted science discussions, performances, competitions, theater and a zero-waste fashion show.

The Science Picnic encourages curiosity and practical learning through hands-on experiences. Supporting STEM education remains a key focus of Aramco Europe’s citizenship initiatives across the continent, helping inspire the next generation of innovators, scientists and engineers.

Aramco Europe Chief Communications Officer Hussain Alamri, said: “The annual Science Picnic creates a unique opportunity for hands-on science and technology learning. We are proud to work with Fahrenheit Universities and Hevelianum on an event that combines education and entertainment to make STEM subjects engaging and accessible for all.”

“The wide range of activities on display highlights the broad impact of STEM learning across everyday life, from environmental issues to healthcare and technology. This year’s strong attendance reflects the event’s continued positive impact within the community.”

The free public event continues to grow each year, bringing together families, students and educators to explore science in creative and accessible ways.

Aramco Europe sees STEM education as vital in preparing future generations for tomorrow’s challenges. Through partnerships such as the Fahrenheit Science Picnic, the company supports programs across Europe that encourage curiosity, innovation and interest in science, technology and energy.
